Bwindi impenetrable forest national park is located in the south western part of Uganda bordering Rwanda. One needs about 4.5 hours of road drive from Kigali city to Bwindi. And if connecting from Volcanoes national park, one spends about 2hours of road drive. Bwindi impenetrable national park is made up of four different sectors that include: Rushaga with the highest number of habituated gorilla families and only one where to do the habituation of gorillas experience from. It is found in the southern part of the park. Second sector is Buhoma region which has the founding and first ever trekked gorilla family known as Mubare. Its Habituation experience commenced in 1991 and ended in 1993 when it first received its first ever clients. Other sectors include Ruhija and Nkuringo.
Though Bwindi impenetrable forest national park produces several gorilla trekking permits, prior booking is relevant and you can contact us on this issue. Mountain gorilla tracking and habituation permits are issued by Uganda wildlife authority. We can do the bookings and reservations on your behalf. While purchasing these gorilla tracking permits, you have a choice to make the exact gorilla group you want to trek and encounter with and you will be availed with if permits for that particular gorilla group are available and this still calls for early bookings so as to avoid disappointments at last minute booking only to be bounced.
