Foreign residents are persons who are not Ugandans but staying in Uganda with working permits.

This is done early morning during the briefing session by the park rangers. The family allocated can also be decided by the interested clients if possible. Each individual is allocated according to their hiking ability and the group treks according to the pace of the slowest trekker.
