An adventurous 3 Days Uganda Gorilla Tour in Uganda's Bwindi Impenetrable forest.
Nowhere else in the world will you see Mountain gorillas than the Virunga massif in the Eastern central forests of Africa; Democratic republic of Congo, Rwanda and Uganda. The Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park; Uganda is home to more than half of the remaining Mountain gorillas in the world. Taking Uganda mountain gorilla trek safaris is more than merely seeing and taking selfies with gorillas for it entails exciting excursions into real Africa; the lush green vegetation the ideal habitat for these giants, indigenous people who have lived with, protected and shared the same habitat with these giants their lifetime. Day 1 - Transfer to Bwindi impenetrable forest
On the first day of your 3 Days Uganda Gorilla Tour, the Gorilla Cousins safari driver will pick you up from your hotel after your early morning breakfast and you begin gorilla tour to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park tourism zone close to the trail head of the gorilla family to trek. You will have an early lunch en route in Kabale town and start ascending steep beautifully cultivated Kigezi highlands arriving early evening and check in at your hotel to freshen up, reconfirm trekking permit and acclimatize to jungle environments. You may take a brief walk through the communities sharing habitat with the gorillas, listen to their songs, dance to their music and get first hand life experience stories of living with the gorillas. You will get back to hotel for dinner, relaxation and overnight stay.
Day 2 - Gorilla trekking
On the second day of your 3 Days Uganda Gorilla Tour, be up with the early bird, taking a hot coffee with a snack and be at tourism office by 8:00 am for briefing by Ranger guides about general trekking experiences, getting porters to carry your extra luggage and start off your real exciting Mountain gorilla trekking safari. Ascend steep, rugged, mist covered, thick forested hills and get in the mix with thousands of other primates, birds, mammals, insects and different wildlife species sharing habitat with gorillas and walk in their foot prints. The exciting feeling of challenging the impenetrable forests, meeting up with the gorillas and everything about the jungles is so captivating and your brief duration of life in the jungles will stretch your imagination. You will spend just one hour with gorillas within which you will have grasped almost everything about the gorillas. Get back to your hotel for a late lunch and departure from the jungles. The Gorilla Cousins safari driver will take you to Kabale and check in at a hotel on the shores of Lake Bunyonyi for relaxation, dinner, overnight stay and more fun on your Uganda tour.
Day 3 - Bunyonyi cruise and Transfer to Kampala
On the last day of your 3 Days Uganda Gorilla Tour, you will wake up with the rising sun. Have breakfast in the lawns and seal your mountain gorilla safari with a brief exciting boat cruise on Lake Bunyonyi. Enjoy the serenity of the lake with cool breezes soothing your skin. Be alert for several attractive bird species on the lake and pay extra attention to guide’s moving stories. You will get to the hotel and check out by 11.00 for a journey with surprise after each adventure surprise to Kampala, Uganda. You will have an African buffet lunch in Mbarara and brief stop at Equator line crossing area; Kayabwe for photo opportunity and freshen up. You will arrive in Kampala late evening and the driver will take you to a hotel or Entebbe International Airport for your outbound flight marking end of an eventful gorilla trip to Uganda that goes beyond borders of two countries.
